Blue silica gel possesses the moisture-adsorbing and anti-dampness properties of fine-pore silica gel. Its characteristic is that during the moisture absorption process, it changes color to purple as the moisture content increases, and then turns light red. This not only indicates the environmental humidity but also visually shows whether the silica gel needs to be replaced or regenerated.

Blue silica gel can be used alone for moisture absorption. Due to its color-changing feature, it is often used in combination with ordinary silica gel desiccants to indicate the moisture absorption level of the desiccant, thereby determining the relative humidity of the environment.
